Sony ACID XMC (Xtreme Music Creation) is a music compositions creation tools. It’s ACID family’s program. Using this software you can create remixes, record vocals and burn your mixes on CD, export music to MP3, share music online at ACIDplanet.com (the Internet's premier site for sharing original music and video). You can record and loop unlimited audio or Midi tracks. ACID XMC comes with over 600 professionally recorded rock, pop and hip-hop loops. You can use as many loops as you want. Also you can plug an instrument or microphone into your PC to capture live vocals, guitar to add your own music to the mix. You can get the audio from the CD or burn your own disk-at-once CD in some minutes. The interface is a single window with a linear track view at the top and a tabbed, track properties and file explorer at the bottom. Sony Acid XMC is a serious introduction to audio recording and looping. It could be used as a notepad for later transfer to more powerful software. There is a guide “Show Me How” that links to a set of tutorials. Unfortunately, the online products help delivers you to all three Acid products and frequently mentions procedures and features that are not present in XMC. ACID XMC supports the following formats: import - AIFF, MP3, OGG, PCA, MIDI, SFA, W64, WAV, Windows Media 9 and export - AIFF, ATRAC3, MP3, OGG, PCA, RealAudio, W64, WAV, QuickTime, Windows Media 9. |
